On 12/31 Michael did have ROP eye surgery. His left eye did bleed and there was some damage, how much we will not know until he gets older. We do have a 2nd opinion appointment at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, I was told it was the best around.

Our son was given a 10% to 20% chance to live with a high probability of brain damage and blindness. We were asked at his birth if we wanted to try to save him or just let him go. With his arms and legs waving we had to give this little boy a chance, and thank God we did. During Michael's stay at All Children's NICU he fought very hard and proved himself to be stronger then we ever could have imagined.
